I’d love to bring you all along on my first Autumnal feeling and looking shoot of 2024.
This time I travelled down to Jedburgh in the Scottish Borders, to see Taylor and her two boys, Tim and Bumble.
We had this date in the diary for few weeks, and when the weather kept deteriorating every time we checked the forecast, we just decided to stop worrying about it, and to embrace what came our way.
We started off the shoot with Tim, who pulled his secret modelling skills out the bag, and did everything we asked of him. His lovely chestnut colour warmed up a very damp day, and look at those autumn leaves!
Bumble
Next we did some shots with Bumble, and did the rain really come out for us here. Bumble is a bit younger and a newer addition to the family, so we did lots of walking shots and kept things moving. Taylor did an excellent job of keeping those jeans as white as she could!
Finally we had a change to some darker jeans, and went out to see what we could get with them together. This was a great shoot to demonstrate that rain isn't the end of the world. As long the horses aren't too bothered about it, and we keep ourselves busy, it just kind of blends into the day! It makes that cup of tea, or hot chocolate when you get home even better.
I've known Taylor for a few years now and we met back in 2021 while being event grooms together! When she said she’d was thinking about getting a shoot, it was a great excuse for a catch up. I’m so glad I could repay her for her patience when teaching me the ropes, by capturing some lovely memories for her to look back on.
