"We’ve had a look at all our beautiful photos and it feels absolutely amazing to have them to hold and they look even better printed out and in the frames!  We are over the moon with everything and the photos are so us and exactly how we wanted them which is to capture us all happy at home . You are a very talented young lady and I won’t hesitate to recommend you to all my friends and family!  I just want to say a massive thanks for your beautiful creations and giving us a wonderful experience"

Last Christmas, Sarah reached out to book a portrait session — a chance to celebrate her family, which of course wouldn’t be complete without her husband Stewart, ponies Bob and Hero, and their two greyhounds, Jack and Tizzy. While the weather had other ideas for us earlier in the year, we finally got our big day together in September — and what a perfect morning it turned out to be.

From the moment I arrived, it was clear how much thought Sarah had put into her wardrobe. Her outfits were full of colour that stood out from the natural backdrop beautifully. I absolutely loved how the colours flowed from the garden to the fields, giving the whole session a super personal style.

We were lucky to have the ponies right at home, which meant we could wander from the garden to the field and even to the front of the house, each space offering something unique. Hero, the little Shetland, quickly became the star of the show — squeezing into every small nook and cranny of the garden, making us laugh as he created little photo opportunities we might never have thought of otherwise. Bob, with his steady presence, brought a lovely balance to the portraits.

And of course, Jack and Tizzy couldn’t be left out. These two rescue greyhounds are such a huge part of the family, and including them made the session feel so complete. They posed with their usual grace but also gave us some sweet, candid moments that really showed off their personalities.

When it came to choosing how to display her images, Sarah opted for a stunning 6-in-1 frame — a statement piece that brings together the essence of the shoot — alongside a ladder triptych, perfect for to add an essence of home into the living room. To top it off, she chose a folio box, giving her maximum flexibility to enjoy her images in different ways over time.

It was such a joy to capture Sarah, Stewart, and their four-legged family. From the soft September light to the laughter in the garden, the whole day felt like the perfect celebration of love, companionship, and the bonds we share with our animals.
