A RECENT SHOOT WITH CHARLOTTE

During October, I headed out to finally meet Charlotte after a few weeks of planning and getting a date organised. We split out shoot in half, with a a focus on some commercial images for her training side of the business, and then finishing off with a mini portrait shoot to display the type of images we capture on portrait shoots.

We kept everything super casual, and very much with the approach of just letting Charlotte do her thing, and capturing all the highly of the training session. We had a mixture of dogs with us, and it was so lovely to see all the personalities.

After getting a whole range of images, and a little video too of the morning, we swapped which dogs we had out, to include some of the other special members of Charlotte's team. We did a mini portrait shoot, getting some close up, and big landscape shoots, using what we had in the field to create some epic autumnal images. This is just a snippet of what we usually capture, but it was fabulous way to put together a fun collection of images.

The difference between action/commercial to portrait Images ?

While action and commercial dog photography capture movement, energy, and business-driven moments, fine art portraiture is something entirely different. My work focuses on timeless, characterful imagery — designed to showcase your dog's personality, in a very special way. Each portrait is crafted with care, intention, and a editorial lifestyle approach , creating images that deserve a space on the wall.
