Full Reveal
It's finally time to reveal a mixture if all the images captured on a recent shoot with Jill, and her two daughters at Lochview Stables. Lochview is a full Livery yard, based just outside of Dunfermline, and although it is big and busy yard, there are lots of little small locations dotted around that are perfect for putting horses at ease, ad allowing us to capture those moments only seen when both horse and owner are relaxed.
Our shoot took place on a breezy February morning, and we worked quickly to use a couple of different locations. Starting off at the front of the yard, we created some black background portraits. These are super easy to do, and the ponies know the yard well, so we're happy for us to try a few different poses here. We then moved onto the outdoor arena, which is lines with some stables painted in a lovely, light green. Plain, but textured backgrounds like these can lots of depth to a set of images, and a little bench at the front made it nice and easy to access! We finally finished off with the ponies in the house!! This is not something I get to capture everyday, and although it was a bit of a squeeze, the photos are ones to make you smile.

As you can see, we added on some jackets to finish with. This kept our outfits changes nice and quick, yet we still managed to add some variety to the shots. Once the ponies were tucked back away to munch on some hay, I finished my visit with a couple of yard related images!

A gorgeous 3in1 frame is a perfect option for displaying group of images like this one. With a beautiful centre images, and two storytelling ones at the side, it just adds the cherry ontop!
