Last week, I had a shoot with Susan and her horse Prickle. The morning was thick with fog as I arrived at the stables to meet them both, and although the sun was fighting to push through, our whole morning was fogged out creating some interesting views. The usual vibrant green of the stables was muted by the mist, creating a quiet and almost hushed atmosphere around the farm, and we started our shoot capturing some black background, and stable shots.

Susan did an amazing job with her outfits, as especially in March, it can be hard to link together colourful pieces while staying warm in the ever the temperamental weather. Deep navy's and purples, mixed with splashes of blues and reds, stood out against the grey morning, adding a lively contrast to the subdued surroundings. As they headed out into the fields, Prickles unique coat, and amazing tail ( well done Susan for that tail wash prep) stood out perfectly against the grey gloom of the mist

I can't wait to see some of these images printed, and it was an absolute pleasure to work with this pair. Wanting your own memories to look back on? Get in touch below .
