There’s something really special about returning for a second shoot with a client — familiar faces, and a chance to be more creative with what we create to build on our previous collection of images.

We were back at Hollie's lovely small livery yard, tucked away in the Fife countryside, and the weather could not have been better. The sun was out in full force, giving us that golden glow that makes everything feel just a little bit magical.

Hollie had clearly put a lot of thought into her outfit choices, and it paid off beautifully. We began with a classic, polished look — jeans, a slowly shirt, and her hair styled naturally. It was the perfect combination of timeless and personal, and it worked so well with the relaxed, rustic backdrop of her home yard.

We kicked off with some relaxed group shots around the yard — a mix of shots showing off the fab yard and facilities she has turned into a lovely little yard. These early frames were all about capturing that everyday kind of magic — the bond, the routine, and the love that ties it all together.

After a quick outfit change into a floaty dress and boots, we shifted gears slightly for a series of portraits that really made the most for capturing all the colours in the early summer backgrounds.

Something Hollie wanted to come away with was some epic headshots. We had to work quite quickly to avoid the flies, and keep everyone moving, however I love the contrast in colours we got from the images.

To finish the day, we wandered into a nearby woodland — a favourite little tucked-away spot of Hollie’s. Here, she changed into a lovely green dress, and lovely Fairfax boots. The sunlight filtering through the trees gave the images a soft, cinematic glow, and it felt like the perfect way to round off the session.

Hollie, thank you again for another wonderful shoot. Your trust in allowing me to capture

these moments is treasured, and I can't wait of your frames to arrive and hold their own place on the wall.
