Have you ever wondered what a full album looks like? Join me going through a full gallery and look at outfit changes, location changes, and how we use time of day to make the photos as special as possible. For the first section of the shoot, we used a hedge for a neutral background to allow Calvin's coat to really pop, chestnuts go with everything!
Arena Hedge
Black Background
We then moved into the barn. Calvin was very relaxed and settled as he is stabled here, allowing the creativity to flow. I love the contrast in these images; the white skirt against the black background makes it pop perfectly!
Front of the barn
The beautiful big barn was amazing for capturing some images where Caitlin and Calvin were the whole focus!
Driveway and Garden
We then had an outfit and location change. The wooden gate had lots of character and provided the right amount of charm, as did the flowers! Not to mention the shawls of spring foliage through the trees.
Driveway series 2
I love making the most of everything on the yard, quite often no bench or chairs will miss out on the spotlight. Of course, the cherry blossoms had to be included in the shoot, what a perfect setting!
Headshots
I love being able to get some headshots of horses, let them really shine. They are perfect and timeless memories. The family dog Ginny also joined in at the end, we couldn't leave her out,
Fun Images
During a shoot, there are always moments where our horses like to steal a snack, make us giggle, or pull a funny face. Some of these always make the final collection, and they are well and truly a representation of them.
Framing
Around 2 weeks after your shoot, you'll have an in person viewing to discuss framing and other options for displaying your images. This is what Caitlin went for, I love how this shoot turned out. A highlight for me is the black background images; I love the way all of the colours pop.
