As the days get longer and the weather warms up, it seems a very appropriate time to reflect on the Canine shoots I did over winter. As always, I was greeted with many wagging tails, lots of zoomies; however with this came great memories and pictures to treasure forever. Let me know if you have any favourites!

Although winters can seem never-ending, there is something very special about a winter Canine shoot! The colours from the surrounding areas and nature can really help to make the dogs stand out. There are further bonuses, such as shorter grass, which makes it harder to lose crazy spaniels and leaves on the floor give a great runway for the action shots!

I was lucky enough to head up to the Highlands for some shoots. The weather was on our side, with a mix of sun and slightly darker conditions, and I was able to capture a variety of tones and moods! I love having a client base up north, as it always makes for a fun week of photo shoots a couple of times a year.

So many lovely frames and prints went out to hang pride of places in these dog's homes! I love seeing where the artworks ends up, it really makes my job so meaningful. If you like what you see and are intrested in a shoot for your dogs, please get in touch below!
