It was so lovely to finally meet Sarah, she was gifted this photoshoot for Christmas from her fiancé, and we scheduled the shoot for May in hopes of better weather and brighter colours, which we definitely got. We did the shoot at home on the family farm, there were so many fun and rustic locations such as wooden doors and old stone walls which we made the most of. Sarah has two ponies, Steven, who is a 4-year-old Exmoor and Charlie, who is 25 (and looks fabulous!) Sarah has had Charlie for years and this seemed like a perfect opportunity to mark a milestone in their life together. Charlie and Steven are both such characters with huge personalities and it was a joy to be able to capture this.
The driveway and the garden at the farm were just lovely to finish the shoot on; it was a great way to get pictures of everyone together. Sarah also has two lovely collies that also wanted in on the action, so of course they were in some pictures too! I love being able to include all of the pets in my shoots,, after all - they are all part of the family!
Sarah decided to get all of the digitals from her shoot and the picture below printed, ready to hang in the house. It is so lovely to have sentimental images hanging in your house, I find it is a good morning motivation technique!
