A Morning Photoshoot with Dolly & her Owners
There’s something special about an early morning in Pitmedden Forest. At 8 am, everything is still so quiet, and the sunlight comes through the trees that cast shadows to create amazing lighting and depth. It was the perfect setting for a truly special session with Dolly and her people.
Dolly was an absolute delight from the moment I arrived. She was full of curiosity and charm, and she embraced every second of the adventure in a new place. She took in the sights, scents, and sounds of the forest with enthusiasm and joy. She was a natural in front of the camera as well as graceful, expressive, and completely at ease in her surroundings.
What made the session even more meaningful was the story behind her. Jess and Marcus, her owners, rescued Dolly just over a year ago. Since then, they’ve built a strong bond built around trust, patience, and love. It was incredibly special to capture not just Dolly on her own, but the connection they share together.
