Commercial Photography with story behind it
Welcome to the start of something beautiful — storytelling through powerful, authentic imagery that connects brands to people.
I’m Carenza , primarily an Equine Portrait photographer with a passion for capturing real moments in natural settings. With many years of experience in the equine industry, I have decided to create a sister branch of the business, and stem into Commercial Lifestyle Photography.
Whether it's an equestrian brand campaign, rural product launch, branding lifestyle shoot, or outdoor apparel catalog, I bring an eye from the same target market, and a deep understanding of how to balance storytelling, brand identity, and commercial appeal.
Why branch out?
I have always enjoyed capturing brands included in our equine lifestyles. Clothing brands, feed companies, and much more, they are what keep the industry ticking over. However, for smaller brands in a very niche market, it is incredibly hard to find a commercial photographer with their target market understanding, and experience of combining photography with animals, and locations that resonate to their clients.

My Process
A grounded, thoughtful approach — from first brief to final image.
1. Initial Consultation
We’ll start with a call or in-person meeting (when possible) to talk about your brand, goals, and the story you want to tell. This is where I get to know your aesthetic, your audience, and how photography fits into your wider strategy.
Think mood boards, locations, and how your products or people live in their environment.
2. Creative Planning
I’ll develop a custom shoot plan, including:
- Bullet point shooting lust
- Location scouting
- Talent needs (people, horses, dogs – you name it)
- Styling guidance
- Timelines and deliverables
- Plan A and Plan B
This is also when we confirm all kinda of logistics. You'll get a full creative brief so you're confident in every detail.
3. The Shoot
Whether we’re in a woodland, a yard, or a cozy barn kitchen, I work with a calm, candid approach. I aim for natural, lifestyle-led imagery with a polished, commercial edge.
I direct where needed, but I always allow for spontaneity—because real moments are what connect best.
4. Post-Production
After the shoot, I carefully select and hand-edit your images to match the tone and aesthetic we’ve planned. You can expect:
- Professionally edited, high-resolution images
- Consistent colour grading with a warm, authentic feel
- A private online gallery for easy review and download
5. Delivery & Usage
Your final gallery will be ready within 1 week. I include both web- and print-ready formats, plus a usage license suited to your campaign needs (we’ll confirm all of this upfront).
Need content resized for socials, leaflets, or web banners? I can take care of that too.
Why Business Owners Need Commercial Photography
Because great imagery doesn’t just capture your product — it tells your story.
In a visual world, your photos are often the first conversation your brand has with a customer. Whether you're a rural business, an equestrian brand, or a countryside lifestyle company, professional photography can do more than fill a page — it can create connection, trust, and identity.
1. Stand Out in a Saturated Market
Handcrafted products, heritage services, and country-led brands deserve more than stock photos. Custom commercial photography sets you apart with visuals that are as unique as your story.
2. Build Trust & Professionalism
High-quality images say, “We care.” They show that you value your work, your clients, and your attention to detail — all without saying a word.
3. Capture Brand Personality
Your surroundings, your staff, your products - they all matter. Lifestyle imagery rooted in your environment helps communicate who you really are, not just what you sell.
4. Increase Engagement Online
Whether it’s your website, Instagram, product listings or print marketing — visual storytelling drives clicks, shares, and saves. The better your images, the longer people stay and the more they engage.
5. Create Content that Lasts
With thoughtful planning, one shoot can give you months of content: banners, profile photos, email headers, social posts, catalogs, and campaigns. It’s not just a shoot — it’s an investment.
6. Let Your Audience Imagine Themselves in Your World
People don’t just buy products — they buy into feelings, lifestyle, and vision. Authentic, lifestyle-led imagery invites your audience to step into your world and picture themselves there.
