what we cover

Do you have a photoshoot coming up and have no idea what to wear, well I am here to help. We will have what is called our design consultation roughly 2 weeks before the big shoot day. This crucial step ensures that everything from your outfit choices to your horse’s preparation is meticulously planned, leaving you feeling confident and excited for your session.

What to wear - your outfits

Personal Style: Bringing Your Vision to Life

One of the most important aspects of our consultation is tailoring the session to your wardrobe. Whether you envision a glamorous, elegant look, a rustic countryside feel, or something playful and fun, we will discuss the best way to bring that vision to life. We go over wardrobe choices in detail, considering colors, textures, and accessories that complement both you and your horse. The goal is for you to feel comfortable, confident, and authentically yourself.

Horse Prep - It's their big day too!

Tips, Tricks and setting the stage for sucess

I often say our horse's own use, not the other way round. Since your photoshoot is complete revolving around them, it's also their big day. During our consultation, we’ll discuss everything from grooming schedules to headcolars and bridles.

The Viewing - where the magic happens

The in-person viewing experience is something truly unique.

Your viewing is the first time you'll see all of your images, in the final collection. In our design consultation, we will walk through an example viewing, and explore how clients usually put their images in favourites piles, choose their first big frame, and how we design showsytopping pieces such as multi frames, and heirloom albums.

last but not least

To finish off our meeting, we will cover every step in the run up to the shoot in the remaining few weeks. From checklists coming your way, to timings and schedules for the day, and finally, how we navigate the British weather. The design consultation is where we fine-tune all these details to craft a session that truly reflects you. By the time your photoshoot day arrives, you and your horse will be fully prepared, confident, and ready to create breathtaking equine portraits that you’ll cherish for years to come.
